This is why the stores run a number of campaigns focused on a range of issues. The campaigns can be national – coordinated by the Social Responsibility Service (e.g. Nutrition Week) – or local, on the initiative of a particular store (e.g. store visits, collections of food and household products, vaccination campaigns, etc.). To ensure that these campaigns run smoothly, each store has a social ambassador, who is responsible for assessing ad hoc requests from social organisations as they arise and passing them on to the Social Responsibility team for approval.
