Carrefour stores continue to help children in difficulty

Carrefour has just launched the 5th “Boucles du Cœur”. Running from 18 May to 28 June 2015, this major nationwide aid event is held to support associations that help children in difficulty. This year, the money raised will go to the Etoile de Martin, an association which supports research into paediatric cancers and strives to improve the well-being of ill children, as well as to more than 200 local associations supported by Carrefour and Carrefour Market stores.

A major humanitarian operation to ensure that children are given every chance

Proceeds from this year’s Boucles du Cœur will go to the Etoile de Martin association (of which Estelle Denis and Raymond Domenech are sponsors), as well as to more than 200 other local charity associations chosen by Carrefour store teams all over France.

In 2014, nearly €1.5 million was raised during the Boucles du Cœur which went to a number of local associations, including €350,000 for the ELA (European Leukodystrophy Association). The aim this year is to set a new generosity record!
